Andrew has been getting a lot of tummy time lately. His little neck muscles are getting stronger each day. Soon he’ll be able to hold up his head on his own. So exciting!

Today Andrew got vaccinations. 
It’s true what they say, “It’s worse for the parents than it is for the child”. I was quite anxious and nervous for my baby. I gently massaged him while they got the shots ready. He was all jolly until they injected him. It was sad, you could see his cheerful face quickly turn to a very upset one. He let out a cry and then settled down. The vaccination experience wasn’t nearly as bad as I had anticipated. Andrew took the shots like a champ. Marc and I got our long list of questions answered and left the doctors office confident we were raising a healthy little boy.
He’s got his lucky bib on. He wore it for Game 3, so hopefully it works for Game 6.
Andrew was baptized at the Santa Barbara Mission by Father Dan (one of the priests that married Marc and I). We decided to keep the ceremony small and private. Our mothers found the garments Marc and I used for our baptisms, so we decided to dress Andrew in a combination of both outfits. It was awesome. We’re hoping to start a tradition. After the ceremony we had brunch at a local restaurant. Then we headed back to LA for a reception for our parents friends and family. We plan to have a big celebration with everyone at the end of the summer once the house is ready.

Mommy & Me class has been great. Andrew and I learn new songs and exercise vision and motor skills through new activities. We also meet new babies and mommies each class. It’s awesome. Here’s a picture of Andrew during tummy time. His neck control is getting stronger . Check out his little booty too haha.
