Volume 1
So tonight Marc and I ventured out in search of festive Holiday decor and lights. First we headed toward downtown to see the new LA Live. It was sooo pretty. Lots of holiday lights. The trees were illuminated by blue led lights and some lights even mimicked falling stars. It was so super crowded though. It was like New Kids on the Block were playing at the Nokia while the Lakers were playing at Staples. CROWDED! I guess lots of people had the same “let’s look at Christmas lights” idea. If I was quick, I would’ve taken photos while we battled cars and pedestrians for space. haha. Instead I was focused on the lights.
Next we drove to Beverly Hills to see a lit Santa and his reindeer. Rodeo Drive had chandeliers that acted as ornaments, (only on Rodeo right?) little toy soldiers and gigantic gift boxes with white bows. We had a great time taking pictures. The best was crossing the street at just the right time to take pictures with the toy soldier (who was situated in the center divider) without interfering with traffic. haha.
I wish we knew how to use the camera well. Sigh… flash, nightshots, macro, zoom…. who knows? All I know is that everytime Marc and I try to take pictures outdoors at night they look crappy. Sad! Bear with the dark and out of focus pictures. Here’s what we got…
