It’s been quite some time since my last post. I’ve been busy and lazy. There’s so much to catch up on. Hmmm… I’ll post and back date the posts so everything falls in the correct order.

Happy Birthday Bev!
Marc and I decided to go on a little adventure with Nikki. We hopped on our bikes and rolled to Rite Aid. We usually go West and head toward the beach, but we wanted a different route, a change of scenery. I had been craving Thrify Chocolate Chip ice cream. I truly believe they have the BEST chocolate chip ice cream out there. The chocolate chips are just the right size! We get to Rite Aid and I head inside for some ice cream goodness. Marc and Nikki chill outside to guard the bikes. For whatever reason, Rite Aid was busy. There were like 7+ people in line. It was Rite Aid day or something. I walked over to the ice cream stand, only to find that they are out of Chocolate Chip. How sad!!! Adding to the sadness is that their ice cream stand wasn’t even filled with ice cream. They had like a total of 8 ice cream choices. Bummed! I decided on a Mint Chip and Cookies and Cream double scoop. It took a while for the ice cream lady to help me out. Scoops are no longer 25 cents like the good old days. I paid 1.61 for my double scoops. Headed out and shared with Marc. We went home took a nap and got ready for Easter Dinner with the Geraldez’.
When we got home, we sat down with Marc’s mom to complete our loan applications. Whoo whoo. We’re one step closer to owning our first house. We’re really excited. Since Marc’s mom is also a licensed travel agent, she was hooking up with stuff for our honeymoon and our 2010 Europe Trip. If you wanna join in on our 2010 European Adventure, let us know. The deals are awesome right now. We’re stoked. Dinner was yummy and the family shared funny stories! Like when the Marc, Kim and Courteney were kids. Or the “twin”. Hilarious! We cleaned up and headed to Easter Vigil.
Easter Mass began outdoors and then moved into the darkened church. We had our candles lit and prayed. Our candles had those circular wax catching things on them to help prevent getting burned. It worked for a bit, but man my fingers got jacked. haha. Wax was everywhere… and HOT! I kept burning myself. At one point, Marc’s candle was burning too close to the wax cacther thing and it caught on fire. He had to blow it out right away. Haha. Shortly after, nearly the same thing happened to me. 2 candles down. I looked over at Kim’s candle, and her’s was still tall and burning all nicely. Maybe she held it differently? All I know is that my candle and Marc’s candle looked like a big waxy mess and they were too short to hold. hahaha. There was also this little girl, maybe 3yrs old, sitting in front of us. Super cute… she was throwin wax pieces at Marc. Soo funny. Mass was running long, naturally, and she was getting tired and restless. Her grandma was trying to help keep her in line while holding her candle. Skills! At one point, the little girl took wax pieces and squished them between her lips and they looked like teeth. Marc and I totally lost it… its was the funniest thing ever. The choir sang a few songs that Marc’s mom suggested for our wedding. They were pretty. I hope to go over more songs so that we have great music for our wedding celebration.

Happy Easter!
Marc and I woke up early and just relaxed before our day started. Just before noon we headed to Albertsons picked up a few things and headed over to my parents house. When we got there, my mom was finishing up the steak. Yummm. Cousin, Jose and Danny arrived shortly after with dessert! Marc said Grace and we enjoyed another yummy meal. Man, home cooking is seriously the best food. Danny ate a mini chilly that my mom picked from the tree/bush in the backyard. She even packed him a little baggie of them. lol. We all planned to meet up later to watch a movie at AMC. We all had tons of free movie passes that we needed to use up, so we decided to watch Fast & Furious. We planed for an evening movie since Marc and I already had plans to go house shopping. We all split up and Marc and I went driving around Culver City and Westchester. Sadly, there weren’t very many open houses. One hosue that we’d be wanting to see was actually open for viewing, so we were excited. What a tease… the house wasn’t nearly as awesome as we had hoped. It was marked up so much, we figured it would be super nice inside. Nope! still lots of upgrading to do. Totally not worth the price. Our house shopping ended early, so we headed to Century City early. Man, I love that mall. It’s totally be done up, thanks to Westfields. We called Cousin and luckily they headed to the theather early too. Yippee. Marc and I were walking around and we walked by the Ummbra Grill. They had a supe cute outdoor seating area and a full bar. I say to Marc, “cute day bar”. Marc’s response, “want a drink?”. I love this guy…. hahaha. We sat down and perused their daily specials. I chose their Mango Martini… super yummy. Marc had a Captian and Coke. Cousin and Jose finally arrived. Cousin went back to an oldie but goodie Tequila Sunrise and Jose braved the “DUI” drink special: 7 hard liquors – white rum, dark rum, Captain Morgan, Amaretto, Southern Comfort, Triple Sec, Tuaca and a few squirts of fruit juice. Bleh. The movie waas entertaining!
