It took several tries to finally capture it on film but Andrew can now turn over on his own. He started being able to turn last week but he wasn’t able to get his arms unstuck from under him. Well a couple days later, our boy figured it out. He sure is a smarty!!! Only thing is that he is not an ambi-turner
He can only turn to the right lol. Watch and be amazed!!!
Since this was Marc’s first father’s day, Andrew and I wanted to make it special. Andrew and I made sure our presents and our cards were ready for him when he got home. We planned to make it a Father’s Day Weekend so when Marc came home from work Friday we surprised him with dinner for his ” Father’s Day Friday Dinner”.
We took him to Back Home in Lahaina. We had an awesome family dinner.
Sunday morning I dressed Andrew in his Father’s Day outfit and we headed back to L.A. early so that we could visit our fathers and spend the rest of Father’s Day at home. On the way home we stopped off at Harris Ranch for lunch. Harris Ranch is a restaurant right by that huge cow farm you pass on the 5 freeway. The meat is fresh! Super good. Marc was happy to have a tasty ribeye steak cooked just the way he liked. Andrew also ate and got changed then we headed back to the Marina where Marc opened his presents. It was a good weekend.
Proof Andrew wrote his Father’s day card (with Mommy’s help)

Today Andrew got vaccinations.
It’s true what they say, “It’s worse for the parents than it is for the child”. I was quite anxious and nervous for my baby. I gently massaged him while they got the shots ready. He was all jolly until they injected him. It was sad, you could see his cheerful face quickly turn to a very upset one. He let out a cry and then settled down. The vaccination experience wasn’t nearly as bad as I had anticipated. Andrew took the shots like a champ. Marc and I got our long list of questions answered and left the doctors office confident we were raising a healthy little boy.
