Look at him! He’s so big now :/ We love how he’s hugging Tigger!

One of the first things I want to remember is our night time routine.  We start getting Andrew prepped for bed at 7PM.  If he needs a bath, we give him a bath in his shower and let him play around in the water for a while.  He loves splashing around but hates “waterfall.”  Waterfall is when we pour water on his head to rinse the shampoo off his head.  He hates it because of the amount of water in his face and he does not yet know how to wipe his face.  Then, as we drain the tub, we play “Find the Water Tornado.”  He loves to see the funnel created when the water is drained off the tub.  Everytime he sees it, he smacks the water and starts laughing.

Once done, we dry him off in the changing table and proceed to put on his diaper and lotion him up.  While one is in charge of changing Andrew to his PJs, the other one is in charge of warming up his cup of milk.  After he’s dressed, one of us sits in the rocking chair and place Andrew in our lap.  He holds his cup and sips his milk through a straw, which he himself picked.  Meanwhile, the other is sitting in the footstool reading our bedtime prayers.  We use this time to pray the Prayer to Raymond Nonnatus (for expectant mothers) and Prayer for Safe Delivery St. Gerard Majella.  In addition, we read a story from one of his Disney books.  Once he tells us he is done with his milk via sign, I pick him up and try to burp him.  We head on over to the radio and he knows to press the button to start his bedtime CD music.  Then, we head over to the light switch and he turns off the light.  Also, he attempts to swing the door shut to lessen the amount of light in his room.  We walk to the center of the room, tell him to kiss Mommy (he kisses Mommy), tell him to kiss Daddy (he kisses me) and ask him where his bed is.  He points to his bed and I ask him “Ready to go to sleep?”  We tuck him in his crib and give him Tigger to hold.  Then we pray the Angel of God prayer while rubbing his head.  We tell him good night and then Marilyn asks Andrew for a kiss.  He gives her a flying kiss.  I stay a little bit afterwards to talk to him about the day and what we are planning on doing tomorrow.  Then I tell him to “Give me five” (which he does) and to give me a double kiss (which he also does).  If he only gives me one, I ask him to give me another one lol.  I tell him goodnight and then close the door.

This is why I’m not allowed to shop with my son…by myself.  He NEEDS all these toys!!!

Watching the Lakers game

Ratio is a bit off but Nikki is playing the damsel in distress that’s tied to the railroad tracks Andrew is planning on saving her from the oncoming train (or so I hope)
